Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we provide this website, and the general terms for our sales and service work.
Last updated: 25 July 2026
1. About these terms
This website is operated by Shiv Printer House, Rajkot, Gujarat, India ("we", "us"). By using this website you accept the terms below. Sections 4 to 10 describe the general basis on which we sell goods and provide services; the specific terms of any individual order are those set out in our quotation, job card or invoice for that order, which prevail if they differ from this page.
2. Information on this website
We try to keep this website accurate and current, but it is provided for general information. Product ranges, models, specifications, stock and prices change frequently, and the presence of a product or brand on this site is not a guarantee that we hold it in stock at any given moment. Nothing on this website is a binding offer to sell.
Model lists and parts coverage are indicative examples of what we commonly handle, not a complete or exhaustive catalogue.
3. Prices and quotations
We do not publish prices on this website. Prices are given on enquiry and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. A quotation is valid for the period stated on it and is subject to stock being available when you accept it. Prices for imported parts may change with supply conditions.
4. Orders and payment
An order is accepted when we confirm it. Retail purchases are payable at the time of supply. Trade and wholesale supply is on advance or on-delivery payment unless we have agreed account terms in writing. All supply is on GST invoice. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.
5. Warranty on products
New printers and branded consumables carry the manufacturer's warranty, and any claim is subject to that manufacturer's terms, procedures and decision. We will help you make a warranty claim, but we cannot decide the outcome of one.
Compatible and refilled consumables carry only the warranty we state at the time of sale. Warranty on any item does not cover damage from misuse, physical damage, liquid damage, power surges, unsuitable paper or media, unauthorised repair, or the use of unsuitable consumables.
6. Warranty on repairs
Repair work carries a warranty on the specific fault repaired and on the specific part fitted, for the period stated on your job card or invoice. It does not extend to unrelated faults that develop later, to other components of the machine, or to recurrence caused by the same external conditions that caused the original failure — for example continued use of unsuitable consumables, unstable power supply, or a dusty operating environment.
Where a fault cannot be repaired economically we will say so and will not charge for repair work we have not carried out. Diagnosis charges, where applicable, are advised in advance.
7. Equipment left with us
Please back up anything you need before leaving a machine with us. Some printers and multifunction devices store scanned documents, fax logs, address books or print jobs in internal memory or storage; repair, part replacement or a factory reset may erase these. We are not responsible for loss of data, stored documents or settings held on equipment left with us.
Equipment must be collected within the period stated on your job card. Uncollected equipment may be subject to storage charges, and after a reasonable further period and notice to you at the contact details you gave us, may be disposed of to recover outstanding charges.
8. Service visits and AMC
On-site response times we quote are targets during business hours and depend on access to the site, machine availability, and parts availability. AMC cover, exclusions, machine list and response commitments are defined in the AMC agreement for that contract; this website is only a general description of the options.
9. Returns and exchanges
Please check goods at the time of supply. Genuine manufacturing defects and dead-on-arrival items will be replaced or credited, subject to inspection and to the manufacturer's terms for that line. Consumables that have been opened, fitted, refilled or used, and parts damaged by incorrect fitting, cannot be returned. Parts ordered specially to your specification are not returnable unless faulty.
10. Limitation of liability
Our liability in connection with any goods or services we supply is limited to repairing or replacing the affected item, or refunding what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business, loss of profit, downtime, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
11. Trademarks
HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Ricoh, Xerox, Kyocera, Pantum, TVS, Samsung, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Lexmark, Oki, Dell, Panasonic and all other brand and model names are the trademarks of their respective owners. They are used on this website only to describe the equipment we sell, service and supply parts for. Shiv Printer House is an independent dealer and service provider and is not an authorised service agent of these manufacturers unless expressly stated.
12. Website content and acceptable use
The text, layout, design and graphics of this website belong to Shiv Printer House. You may view, download and print pages for your own use in dealing with us, but you may not republish or reproduce them commercially without our permission. You must not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of this website, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
13. Links
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Rajkot, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
